NAPLES GATORS 2025 FALL CHEERLEADING

FIRST DAY OF PRACTICE WILL BE 7/15/2025 at 6pm!!!

Practice Schedule

Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday 6-8pm

Days may vary dependent upon team placement!




WHO IS ELIGIBLE:
Cheer - Ages 5-18 as of July 31, 2025 (age range may vary pending team formations)

*** ACDC makes final determination of team placement. Teams may be eliminated/consolidated depending on the number of enrolled athletes.

RETURNING CHEERLEADERS

·         You will need to log into your Naples Gators account

·         Follow the required steps to enter or update your information. Please make sure to update your athlete’s headshot on their profile with a white background (think Passport Photo style)

·         Must complete ALL steps and payment and check out for registration to be processed

·         PLEASE NOTE - No necessary to upload any documents at this time. We will contact you regarding any required documents

·         REPORT CARDS- Email 4th quarter report cards to [email protected] once available from your child’s school

 

NEW CHEERLEADERS

Please follow the steps to create an account with us:

1. Click on the REGISTER button on the top right corner of the site

2. Create a username (this will be your email address) and a password - MAKE SURE YOU WRITE BOTH DOWN

3. Enter the required information for parents/guardians/child(ren)

4. For NEW cheerleaders, we will need you to upload your 
birth certificate and a headshot picture (think Passport Photo style)- we will need you to hand in a printed copy of your cheerleaders birth certificate

5. Be sure to complete check out with payment or your registration will not be processed for team placement


Payment Methods (Cash, Credit/Debit Card)

***IF YOU WISH TO PAY WITH CASH (NO CHECKS WILL BE ACCEPTED THIS YEAR), YOU MUST TURN IN YOUR CASH TO COMPLETE YOUR REGISTRATION AND RECIEVE A TICKET TO REGISTER. Kelly will be available M-F at her office, and posted dates at the field.

Once your registration online is complete, please look out for an invite to 
Stack Team App as we will be connecting each cheerleader to both a Gator Cheer Chat and individual cheer team chat.

 

 FOOTBALL GAMES:

We typically participate in 8-9 regular season football games as sideline cheerleaders starting in August, with all regular season games being in the Peace River Region: https://www.peaceriverconference.net/



POST SEASON FOOTBALL GAMES:

If our football teams continue to the playoffs post-regular season, our cheer teams will be expected to support our football teams that within driving distance. This will include our Peace River Conference Playoffs, Regional Playoffs, and Championship games. Regionals and Championships will be held anywhere within Florida.



COMPETITIONS:

Peace River Cheer-Off
The Peace River Cheer Competition is held in October at Hertz Arena in Ft. Myers. Our cheer teams will compete with our local conference teams. This competition will determine if teams will move on to the Regional Competition in Orlando, FL.

Pop Warner Southeast Region Cheer Competition
This competition is held over Thanksgiving weekend at Silver Spurs Arena in Kissimmee, FL. The cheerleaders will get to experience days packed full of fun aside from the competition. It’s a great way for the girls to compete at a high level, but also have a blast with team bonding, building friendships, and having a lot of FUN!

Pop Warner National Cheer and Dance Championships

Dependent upon placement at Regionals, cheer teams will move on to Nationals. This competition will be held in Charlotte, North Carolina. Typically held during the first or second week of December. Pop Warner will provide a letter to each cheerleader to excuse their absence from School.

****There will be a ton more information to come regarding the above competitions. The ACDC will be meeting with cheer families to discuss all of this at length, as well as the need to participate in Fundraising in order to plan for these post-season expenses. VOLUNTEER and Get Involved!!!
Our league is run completely on a volunteer basis. For a season to run efficiently, we ask that each family plan to volunteer throughout the season. Please reach out to Kelly Coleman if you are interested in a specific volunteer position within the league. Coaches, Team Moms, and Board Members will be posting in chat groups where help is needed also. It is important that each family donates a few hours of their time each season!
