Youth Football & Cheerleading

DRESS POLICY

Naples Gators team members have a dress code that must be always followed. Team members will not be permitted to participate if they are not wearing proper dress code, this includes hair. Team Members not in proper dress code will not be allowed to practice and will be considered absent and this will be considered an unexcused absence.

● Football Practice

  • Cleats: You provide
  • Football Socks: You provide
  • Mouth Guard: Will be provided one but you can buy your own. Ask your coach for any specifics. 
  • Cool shirt or tank (recommend dry fit moisture wicking): You provide
  • Practice Jersey: Will be provided to wear over your shirt or tank top
  • Pads, pants or padded pants (pending team): Will be provided
  • Shoulder Pads/protection gear: Will be provided to wear over your shirt or tank top and under your jersey.
  • Helmet: Will be provided

● Football Game Day

  • Cleats: You provide

● Cheer Practice

  • Practice Shorts that are not long (long can get tangled in stunts.) Your coach will fill you in on the allowed color. No Jeans (short or long): One practice uniform will be provided; you provide the extra

  • Practice T-shirt or Tank: no halter tops, half shirts or sports bra only.
  • Legging or sweats are acceptable ONLY on cooler days. Your coach will fill you in onthe allowed color: You provide
  • Gym Shoes: You provide.  Please do not wear NEW cheer shoes (save those for competition). We recommend old cheer shoes.
  •  Hair secured tightly in a ponytail, braid, or bun. Hair MUST be off face.
  • No long nails.  Nails must be kept trimmed short for stunting and the protection of yourteam members.
  •  No jewelry (including earrings, watches, body piercings, necklaces etc.) for stuntingprecautions-NO EXCEPTIONS.

● Cheer Games

  • Game Uniforms: Will be provide
  • White (NOT DIRTY) Cheer shoes: You provide
  • White low socks: You provide
  • Bow of Coaches choice: Will be provided
  • Hair in a VERY HIGH ponytail or per coach
  • No fingernail polish and nails must be trimmed for safety-Pop Warner Rule and they will inspect your hands at book check at each game.
  • No glitter allowed (including hair and body)- Pop Warner Rule and they will check at book check.
  • No jewelry (including earrings, watches, body piercings, necklaces etc.) for stunting precautions-NO EXCEPTIONS- Pop Warner Rule!

    Uniform Policy
  • Complete uniforms shall be worn at all Gators Pop Warner sponsored events during the season.
  • Uniforms (including shoes and socks) shall be clean and in good condition.
  • Uniforms will be returned at the end of the season.  Parents will be financially responsible for replacement costs of uniforms not returned, lost or damaged.
    Uniforms = $200
    Helmets & Pads = $500
  •  Failure to return uniform items or pay the replacement costs by a specific date set forth in your season signed contract will result in your athlete being ineligible to participate infollowing years.
  •  Any athlete who decides to leave the program will be required to return theircomplete uniform and equipment immediately.
